Pulp & Paper Mill Energy Project
Nickel Bros Industrial participated in a $13 million new green-energy project for a BC pulp & paper mill that will produce low-carbon electricity and be one of the cleanest waste wood co-generation projects anywhere in Canada by transporting, delivering and installing (5) key pieces of project cargo.
Creative planning and logistics by Nickel Bros created real cost effects for our client on this project. The project including receiving the (5) pieces from the manufacture and two separate ports of entry and heavy barge transporting the pieces to the remote coastal site. Pieces were the offloaded and hoisted 25’ up to an elevated platform and installed 75’ by using Nickel Bros Industrial’s jack and slide systems.
